Hi, I'm new to Rosetta (though I have been long interested in biology :)) and I was wondering if there was a way that I could get more info (preferably from inside the manager) about the protein my computer is currently working on (its function, any potential importance in scientific research, in what lifeforms it is found in, etc.)

I'm sorry if someone else has already answered this question, but as a busy college student I don't have time to hunt over the forum for a specific topic.

hi,
a possible solution might be - copy the name tag or ID of your protein, usually a number with 3 letters, like '1WJB' in the job title. you can then enter it into the Protein Data Bank site search @ http://www.rcsb.org/pdb/home/home.do

Astrobiology.
