Hey guys/gals.

I will soon be looking for a new home, and it's hoped that my other team mates can come up with somthing similar to what we were doing at FaD. This seems to fit the bill and provided the server problems don't continue too long, there is a chance that many of our team (XPC) will give it a go...

As the stats person on XPC, I will more than likely be offering a daily stats/waffle thread at XPC for our members to frequent and tell us all about their days activities/banter etc...

Now with the FaD client, comma separated value files were made available for download that included all the members and teams, and the total points, molecules, hits etc listed; this made it very easy to create a simple daily program that could parse this data and offer an element of history.

Is similar data made available in this way?

The current stats pages contain a load of information most of which is pretty useless just to see 'how you are doing' within the team. If csv files are unavailable, is there a way to display a whole teams page rather than chuncked in 100's. It would make life much easier to parse through one page rather than have to load up mulitple pages...

Talking of stats, how exactly do they work, is there some form of rating depending on cpu power (GFLOPS) etc that would be multiplied by the time spent running each job?

TIA :D

Great site btw, seems quite a cosy place :)

win2kuser,

All boinc projects put out stats in the form of xml files..

for Rosetta, they are located here

If you need any help parsing them let me know, though it's fairly simple.

Here is information on benchmarking and credits from the Wiki.

Paul and Co. explain it better than I ever could.
