Does Rosetta have any work for Windows computers? I've attempted to get work off and on for a few months, and I get nothing. Is there actually no work to be done? Or does Rosetta not need any more help?

There is work, but it's only released occasionally (maybe a few times over a day, then nothing for a week or so) and for (generally) no more than a couple of hours at a time before it's all gone.
And they are releasing Beta work here on the main project, with no way to opt out, so you could get a bunch of work that crashes out in a matter of minutes, or it could take 8+ hours, then it crashes out.

I set No new Tasks on Rosetta ages back.

Thanks, Grant. I appreciate your response. I think I will opt out of Rosetta. I don't need work that ends in crashes.

Thanks again,

Bill

A pity, because in the hour before you posted I downloaded 33 tasks, including Roisetta Beta tasks that are running successfully and don't look like they'll crash out based on the criteria that saw a few run successfully before.
Not to worry. More for those who stay.

I had Rosetta run for nearly 5 years (24/7) without problems and now since a year there are no tasks to do. I have 3 PCs with window where it is running on and felt good, because I thought I would do something important for humanity. Yesterday I had one task, after some updates I get a few tasks but now its like the last couple month, there is nothing to do. Could someone explain this to me with easy words? Am I doing something wrong or whats happening? What is the goal to achieve? Is this project dying? I dont get it.
Best regards

There is only work available very occasionally, and not much of it when it is available.
So If your system asks at just the right time, it could get several days worth, but otherwise there's little if any work to be had.
