Hi. I have a PC with an AMD A10-7800 CPU and I noticed that the tasks are x86_64 (32bit). What does it mean? They run in 64bit or 32bit?
In a few days I will replace the A10 with a Ryzen 5 1600. I hope I can crunch more than I do now.
ASUS X570 E-Gaming
AMD Ryzen 9 3950X, 16 core / 32 thread 4.4 GHz
AMD Radeon Sapphire RX 480 4GB Nitro+
Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X Trio

For windows it's not a 64bit native (they use a wrapper).
It's one of the feature requested many times to developers

I noticed a similar thing on Linux.

First, Boinc downloaded minirosetta_3.78_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu. Then, some days later, it downloaded minirosetta_3.78_i686-pc-linux-gnu. These executables are, however, identical, so I assume it was the x86 version all along, just labelled wrong. And this is (of course) an x86_64 computer, running x64_64 Boinc version 7.6.22. I don't know what's going on.

And, at the end of 2017, it's strange they are still using wrapper for 64bit on Windows.
How many 32 bit computers are on the project? What computational power they give? Why not abandon these?

An example: ArchLinux ends x86 package support
