You can only merge, if the two computers are stated as identical. The slightest difference in hardware (a new harddisk) or OS, and they're not identical.

Look at the OS for each:

154689: Microsoft Windows XP
Professional Edition, Service Pack 2, v.2096, (05.01.2600.00)

143166: Microsoft Windows XP
Professional Edition, Service Pack 2, (05.01.2600.00)

They are not identical! You may have upgraded something, so now they appear to have a different version of OS.

I had a harddisk crash a year ago, and after I got my computer back with a new harddisk, I wasn't able to merge it with the one before, even they had the same IP and hostname, because of the new harddisk.

Edit the description to include the "v.2096" and you should be able to merge them.
