| I love the sciences because they allow one to explore and discover, whether for personal pleasure or to help humanity expand both its theoretical and practical knowledge of the universe. I have a BS in Geology and a MH in Philosophy. Professionally, I worked as a Physical Scientist/GIS Specialists and Manager/Geographer/Cartographer for the US Government for 32 years (retired in 2015). I now work as a semi-professional videographer for several non-profit education groups, and I continue to explore my love of the sciences, philosophy, geography, and history. |

| The goals of Rosetta@home are very much in need today as our human population continues to grow, as the world continues to become more integrated, and as the climate continues to change. Evolution stops for no one. It is, therefore, in our best self-interest to learn as much about our world as we can. I run Rosetta@home because my computers are not in use all the time, so I have plenty of "down time" that can be used more productively. |
