While the Rosetta project speaks for itself as far as worthiness of project, the really great thing about the project is that is does not take a computer whiz to run it on your home computer. It is simple to install, and it is easily run on any computer you may have. I myself have run the project successfully on everything from a 233 MHz Pentium processor machine to a Core 2 Duo, and not once has the Rosetta software caused a conflict or issue with any machine I have run it on. I am currently running it on a 400 MHz IMac without conflicts or problems, and will continue to do so as long as the machine runs.

The other good thing about the Rosetta project is the communication and feedback you get from the Project director, Dr. David Baker about what we are accomplishing in terms of research by contributing to this project. It is a chance for all of us to possibly contribute in a small way to the overall health and well being of the fellow occupants of our planet, and that in itself should be enough to stimulate interest in the project.

And, lastly, you should join up with the good folks at BBR Team Helix, should you desire to contribute to a team effort. The people on our team are a constant source of technical and moral support, and are a talented and humorous bunch as well. The Forums at Broadband Reports are there to assist you in every interest you may have, from digital photography to the stock market.

Join us here at Team Helix!!! You are welcome here, and we would be glad to have you on our team!

I received this error message on this work unit and was curious if it indicated a hardware or software problem. How about whether it is related to work unit itself, the new Boinc client, or an issue with machine itself?
