1) Message boards : Number crunching : New Crediting system: questions (Message 22593)

Post:
The granted vs. claimed credits is certainly inconsistent with granted being both higher and lower, even on the same PC. I have one that granted 50% more than claimed on one WU, but less than claimed on the other. I'm not even going to try to figure it out; I'll just keep crunching.

I have a new Dell 620 Laptop that was assigned to me at work, and, of course, I put Rosetta on it; it's current RAC is 451.60 using the Core 2 Duo CPU to run 2 jobs at once.

Should I report WU's that cannot be completed? I put Rosetta on my son's gaming PC, but he removed it after completing 4 WU's, with two in process.

WU's 24670641 & 24646923

Damn, I opened this thread hoping to get a bite to eat! Oh well, I've cranked up a bunch of PC's and all are 100% Rosetta; I've got my RAC over 1,100 since starting last month. I was really surprised to see a WU run for 11.5 hours on one PC instead of the usual 2 to 3. It's the slowest computer I could find (It runs a VIA Samuel 2 CPU), and it has not been getting such big WU's since I added it on yesterday.
6) Message boards : Cafe Rosetta : Team or not to Team... (Message 19534)

Post:
As I check in and see my stats rising I ask myself if I should join a team.

Does anyone know the percentage of people running Rosetta that is on a team/not on a team?

I am NOT looking for input about any particular team, as I can find that information on my own. I am just wondering how poplular it is to be on a team, and I would like feedback about any problems people have had (In general, again, not asking about any one team).

Thanks for any input....

I just started this month (using two computers), and joined a team (Sci-Fi) after a couple weeks for no particular reason. I can't see that it makes a iota of difference.
