Team or not to Team...
(Message 19598)
Posted 1 Jul 2006 by PKBear Post: I created a team for my new school, though I haven't advertised it yet, so for now the "team" is my laptop and my fiancee's desktop running 24/7 LOL Should break into the top 1000 teams sometime tonight though - not bad for roughly 3 weeks :) I'm hoping to get a lot of support from my school once I advertise - not just for stats, but mainly because this is a great cause. |

Changed Team Name and Description, but not seeing changes?

Posted 11 Jun 2006 by PKBear Post: I believe it does take a little bit to update and reflect changes. I just recently created a team as well and it only took a couple of minutes, I may have just lucked out and hit the server at the right time... |

Formerly on SETI, now Rosetta

Posted 11 Jun 2006 by PKBear Post: My brother got me running S@H some years ago. Over the course of 6 or so years, several home-built boxes, and a couple branded PCs, I had forgotten all about it. Then I saw a story on Rosetta (think it was CNN.com). Knew I had to join the ranks! I run a Sempron 2800 notebook, and just set up our desktop to run 24/7 (runs all day everyday as aprint server anyway LOL). I've also taken the liberty of setting up a team in honor of my new school - Buffalo State College. It's open to all who want to join in the fun! Maybe if we grow, I can start a forum on one of my sites (read: neglected attempts at killing rare free time). Anyway, it's late and I'm rambling - nite all! |
