On my old iMac, I had 2 of these running at once with 2 regular Rosetta tasks. These new ones take up a lot of memory. As long as I was away for the day and the computer wasn't touched, they ran to completion. I had 2 others running at the same time and when I started to look at videos and do my email they sort of choked on the memory constraints and stopped themselves with an error message on Boinc Manager. When I shut everything off and restarted the computer to get them going again, they appeared to attempt to restart but failed. I don't remember now what happened after that.

Got my first small r "rosetta python projects 1.01" today. Boinc Manager says that it will take an estimated 6:12:31 to complete.

On June 7, I received "validate errors" on several tasks. These tasks were derived from other computers reporting "detached" and "aborted". The tasks as a result had "too many error results" and "too many total results". An example task is here

Also, in the task description there is credit given for the task, but in the summary for the computer there is no credit given and on Boincstats, I received no credit for these tasks.

Hopefully that URL works now.here. And I should have said "work unit" not task, I think.

Since RS seems to be completely useless in regulating computer assignments for Boinc Projects, i.e. On Rosetta, I have RS set to 1%, yet I get continuous downloading and running at "high priority". I wind up setting tasks to "suspend" or "abort" and setting many projects to "no new tasks" to control the flow of work. I have only one computer with 1 CPU and am connected to several projects; one of the unusual setups.

Everything is running fine with iMac4,1 Core Duo and Boinc Manager 5.4.9.

Not sure if this is a minor bug as I don't run Rosetta much. If I have the graphics window running and switch to another program, all is well. If I click on the graphics window, the window comes to the front as it should, but the menus stay with the other program, not Boinc. If I am in the other program and switch to Boinc, the graphics window closes.

I had a work unit processing at about 80% complete and it seemed to be going normally. I suspended the project (as well as Einstein and Seti) and quit Boinc. I shutdown the computer and restarted. When Boinc started again, it reported this work unit as complete and uploaded it. Either it was stuck before or isn't actually complete. I had a similar thing happen a couple of days ago and it also reported work units complete even though the completion times were unusually short.

It is running okay on my iMac Core Duo along with Seti and Einstein as intel-native. I am getting results of around 21000 CPUsec. per WU. http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/results.php?userid=85245 Is this good, bad, average?

Actually, Boinc just downloaded version Rosetta 5.22 to my iMac Core Duo for Rosetta. The worker is rosetta_5.22_i686-apple-darwin. There were also a ton of other files downloaded.
