I think that the native is the known structure who need the less energy, but the objectif of this project is to define some structure with part defined who needed the less energy and to for example represent a structure who can be used to make a new drugs ...

Its just a comparaison with the native structure.

The native structure is the structure to be the structure with the less energy needed to be stable.

So its a comparaison and when you see a negative energy, its just because you have find a struture who need less energy than the native structure to be stable ..

I think thaht both are important ..

All us or important because we help the scientist, we help the research, its a thing that always must do at home !!!

But when all the Rosetta community found a possible architecture of protein, it must be tested, and to launch this new protein, money is necessary for the laboratery, so i think that finaly the sientist need more money because with our help, there are more protein sequences to test ..

When you lanch Boinc, sometimes you can see thaht the software launch a "performance test" who calculate the performance of all your pc.

Its a benchmark, it calculates your floating point and this number is use to calculate your credit, the credit is calculate with this result and the time necessary for your pc to finish the workunit.

The total of the project in TFLops is just an addition of all the benchmark of theses PC but its a possible power, because when you use your ordi to play or to redige something, you use calcul for that.....

See right hand corner of the main page ( server status)

You have the number of host, if we will go to 150 TFlops, the number of host will be multipliate by 5 ...
