All the Team RAC scores are messed up too. The ones I checked have a score that is lower than the top member of each team. ESL is showing RAC of 3,415 as of 11:20 MDT.

Team "Canada" Rosetta now has an active founder. That's a start. When we get a website going for the "Canada" teams we will be able to link out team page to it. I'll keep you posted.

Credit is granted for failed WU's (Claimed = Granted) up to a maximum of 20 credits. Click on the "Result ID" link for any failed WU and it will show at the bottom of the Result page. It may take a day to show up and I think that is the only place it will show.

I've noticed my RAC slowly moving down over time. I crunch mostly Rosetta so I thought this may be because fewer participants are using the optimized BOINC clients that claim higher credit. This would bring down the rolling average that Rosetta uses for granted credit. Combine this with the graphics problems and it could be enough to cause a slight downward trend. Are the science apps getting more intense too?

Just some thoughts.

Hi pfkcmk. Welcome to Rosetta.

If there is a set of 4 characters in the task name such as some I have now "2snm" you can go to a protein data bank and type it into the search box. I use the RCSB Protein Data Bank. It doesn't always work but if you have a number and 3 letters it's usually in the data bank.

Buffalo Bill, I wanted to clarify your situation a little if we can. Could you copy/paste the message you were seeing? Also, I wanted to confirm which direction the file was heading when you had problems. From Rosetta to your PC is a "download"... to send the result from your PC back to Rosetta is an "upload". Since many people misuse the terms, I just wanted to be sure.


I don't have the message but it looks like the same one Steffen got. At that point the task had completed and was "Uploading" just before the "Ready to report" message normally appears in the Status column of the tasks page.
