There's also a BIG difference between a lab for of biochemists and an IT guy or two and a dedicated IT team to do the upgrades and PLAN the upgrades and all associated "secondary" jobs that go to make the system work "perfectly". These guys are only human, give them a break. I think you misunderstood. I was making the point that this thread was about the XML stats, not about some enhancements that didn't get done. The idea was to try and keep this thread from moving from a problem report to some guy's crusade to get new features implemented or a general gripe session about how neglected some people feel. And to whoever did it, great job on getting the stats working again!

Back in October I tried to warn Rosetta project leaders that making promises that they ignore and not responding to the message boards is going to make us feel negatively about the project. Thread Here is another example of great user ideas being ignored. On May 27 2007 Speedy started a thread about if the Rosetta project could create a ServerStatus Work unit page like Seti's. And even after the Mod said "I think it's a great idea. It has been brought by others as well as being a way to motivate people to crunch more. Show them the work that's left to do, and progress being made." No one from the Rosetta has done it or even responded to another polite request for an update on November 4 2007 by Speedy. Please keep this thread on topic. we want the xml stats generation fixed. Then you can complain about everything else you wish they'd do but haven't yet.

Can someone from the project have a look and comment please?

And the computer's being granted well over 400 times what a similar processor is producing for the same runtime.

(Message 47221) Posted 29 Sep 2007 by Xaak Post: The incorrect RAC was caused by firing up two validators to help with the backlog caused by the hardware failure earlier this month. I'm pretty sure it has been fixed now. I'll look into why it effected the RAC so it doesn't happen again if we need more validators running. (Message 47202) Posted 29 Sep 2007 by Xaak Post: Is it that they don't value our input... or is something screwed up and they are too busy fixing the problem to take the time to respond to our complaint? Some people may think, "I should move my computers to a project that cares", but that really isn't fair, since really we don't know what is going on. However, it would be nice if the Rosetta Home page would acknowledge that there is still an issue and that they are aware of it and a working on it... My 2 Canadian cents worth! P.S. I'm still loyal to Rosetta I'm not asking for miracles, just to know that someone understands there's a problem, and that it'll eventually get addressed. I'm not going anywhere either (yet) ;-). But the first sign of a project going south is lack of communication. Join Us

Team RAC is less than the first user. Has there been a change in how the stats are calculated? It's not only the team stats, it's the individual stats too. I posted something about it last week, and it's been ignored. The situation continues, and the project people won't even acknowledge it. Hm, let's see, we're running beta apps that are buggy, wus are failing and we're getting validate errors, wus are getting stuck, statisics are messed up, and nobody from the project is saying anything about it? Can someone check it out?
