XML stats not updating
(Message 48844)
Posted 19 Nov 2007 by Xaak Post:
I think you misunderstood. I was making the point that this thread was about the XML stats, not about some enhancements that didn't get done. The idea was to try and keep this thread from moving from a problem report to some guy's crusade to get new features implemented or a general gripe session about how neglected some people feel. And to whoever did it, great job on getting the stats working again! |

You might want to check the title of the thread :-). The problem with them is that they're not being generated ;-). |

There's a big difference between not implementing improvements and not getting things that were working fine back up and running in a timely manner. Please keep this thread on topic. we want the xml stats generation fixed. Then you can complain about everything else you wish they'd do but haven't yet. |

XML stats not updating
(Message 48781)
Posted 18 Nov 2007 by Xaak Post: It's been 3 days since an XML update. Anyone know what's going on? There's a whole lot of silence on the Home Page, or anywhere else for that matter. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. I don't know what's going on either, but I have Stats 'N Stones users clamoring for a Rosetta stats update. |

Posted 13 Oct 2007 by Xaak Post: Found another one: http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/results.php?hostid=567404&offset=20 Maybe the credit/decoy ratio on these are way off? |

(Message 47670)
Posted 13 Oct 2007 by Xaak Post: Ok, this is getting rediculous. an 8500 credit wu? Why only his machine? http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/result.php?resultid=111686926 He has a number of errored wus, so either the client is registering errored decoys as successfully completed, or he's hacking the result to show way too many decoys. Can someone from the project have a look and comment please? |

(Message 47659)
Posted 12 Oct 2007 by Xaak Post: They're certainly being reported here, and they're calculated into the computer's RAC. And the computer's being granted well over 400 times what a similar processor is producing for the same runtime. |

Posted 12 Oct 2007 by Xaak Post: Sorry, but something isn't quite right here. Was perusing a few of the faster machines, and ran across this. Several others on the same computer too: http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/results.php?hostid=562651&offset=40 Is this a bug or has someone found a potential cheat? XaaK Join Us |

What's up with the Top Team Stats?
(Message 47221)
Posted 29 Sep 2007 by Xaak Post: The incorrect RAC was caused by firing up two validators to help with the backlog caused by the hardware failure earlier this month. I'm pretty sure it has been fixed now. I'll look into why it effected the RAC so it doesn't happen again if we need more validators running. Sorry it took a while before I realized this was happening. Thank you :-). |

What's up with the Top Team Stats?
(Message 47202)
Posted 29 Sep 2007 by Xaak Post: Is it that they don't value our input... or is something screwed up and they are too busy fixing the problem to take the time to respond to our complaint? I'm not asking for miracles, just to know that someone understands there's a problem, and that it'll eventually get addressed. I'm not going anywhere either (yet) ;-). But the first sign of a project going south is lack of communication. Join Us |

What's up with the Top Team Stats?
(Message 47165)
Posted 28 Sep 2007 by Xaak Post: Seems like the Top Teams stats are really messed up. Team RAC is less than the first user. Has there been a change in how the stats are calculated? It's not only the team stats, it's the individual stats too. I posted something about it last week, and it's been ignored. The situation continues, and the project people won't even acknowledge it. Hm, let's see, we're running beta apps that are buggy, wus are failing and we're getting validate errors, wus are getting stuck, statisics are messed up, and nobody from the project is saying anything about it? Hey, is this Seti@home? Xaak Join Us |

Recent average credit messed up?
(Message 46708)
Posted 21 Sep 2007 by Xaak Post: Strangely, I just added a new quad, and I'm showing now around 10k credits/day actual for the past week, yet the RAC on my page keeps dropping. It's currently showing 6128. http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/show_user.php?userid=66761 Going a step further, if I add up the rac from all my boxes, I get 8274. http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/hosts_user.php?userid=66761&show_all=0&sort=expavg_credit Looks like some kind of bug. Can someone check it out? |
