Someone may want to take a look at the results on this one as well, there's plenty of them and it isn't the 1% "stuck" problem.

I've stopped Rosetta on this machine, as it would run through a ton of jobs and client error them until it gave the message "daily quota met".

Of the 20 computers that I'm running/have run Rosetta on, only one has had a 90% + failure rate. That one is a dual Xeon 450 running @ 500MHz. Consequently, that one was moved to another project, as I thought/felt if was/is a machine problem. That box has crunched [FAD], DIMES, and RC5-72 without any problems. In this case, it probably isn't much of a loss to the Rosetta project.

Recently though, another machine started having problems and would end up with an error message containing the message "daily quota met". The only way I was able to recover was to do a complete un-install, followed by a clean install. Unfortunately, now it continues to get the error regardless of what I do. That machine is a Mobile 2800+ Semperon. It's currently running DIMES and RC5 without any problems.

Finally, I've run into the 1% "stuck" problem. This one is starting to get real tiring and I've stopped Rosetta on 2 machines that seemed to get by far the majority of jobs stuck at 1%, that I've had. I understand that this problem is being worked on and will continue crunching Rosetta on the remainder of my machines.

Puss wants to know if they taste as good as the chameleons around here? <grin>

Unlike chameleons, these guys can do damage with their claws, tail, and nasty teeth (they can leave some nasty wounds even at his current age). They also run on their hind feet when they want to get somewhere fast.

As fer' Puss, Larry should be ~ 3 feet long in another year and Puss wouldn't want to mess with him then. LOL

BTW, wifey ain't a bit happy about the meal and wax worms in the fridge or when Larry runs around the house now. Wait until he's 3' and tries to climb into the bed. Or, when we start feeding him pinkies.

Thanks, carl. This being a nice frame house with a pool and a view, thought I'd try to stay somewhat upscale. And we don't need cages for the tarantulas here. They come in quite nicely on their own with the bananas. LOL 'Sides, if it's not a local family, the 3 inch cockroaches are usually threat enough. <evil grin>

We have a new guest in the house since Christmas . . .

Larry lizzard

He's a Water Dragon and is now ~18 inchs, nose to tail. I'll upload some pic's of him sometime this weekend over in the XPC/TIMO galleries.

Got a watered down version of the G string here, but mostly I blab on the DC Zone, Rosetta-Boinc forum and the FADBeens PanGlobal HQ. Howdy, Harder! <waves frantically>

Hey sexy!!! :p <Wolfie Whistles>

I finally got around to adding RC5-72 to 3 boxes and 13 to Rosie during the last couple days. I'm still running DIMES on all the boxes, and so far they seem to be getting along okay. :)

I haven't been very active in any of the forums for a while, but you can usually find me at TIMO, XPC, or DIMES (Mod), Forums.

Thought things were a little too quiet around here . . . so I had to speak up.
