I'm not skilled enough at image editing to change colors when there are different hues and not all pixels are the same color. Others will offer opinions. Typically it's good to make it fairly easy to earn the basic badge, but make sure its feasible to earn higher level badges too. Don't go from 5 mil to 50 mil. I'd give up at 5 mil. - decide badge colors for the different levels like bronze at 100k, silver at 500k, gold at 1 mil, Amethyst at 5 mil, Ruby at 10 mil.
