I had this happen the other day. My disk space went under the \"Leave atleast xx free\" amount. I lowered the amount and I\'ve been fine since.

I don\'t intend to discourage the use of Twitter but a Twitter account shouldn\'t be a necessity to receive information from the project.

Possibly your connection settings in Boinc are too high. It could also be the debt ratio boinc has for your projects. If that is the case it will work out. You could change your Rosetta settings to longer wus.

I do appreciate updates. It helps to know what to do with Boinc and project settings.

One listed as valid is still pending from Jan 9.
Another is listed invalid but shows no errors and ran just fine. What is going on with these? Is this a result from the server problems?

It states on the homepage, under news, that the project has been shut down to make modifications as of December 23. Unlike the majority, I\'ll just figure that the project is being worked on or is at least still shutdown LIKE THE HOMEPAGE SAYS...

It did come back up the 25th/26th as I got a stack of wus then. The outage may be a delayed result of what was changed on the 23rd.

But how can we know if that\'s the issue when no one took 15 minutes sometime during the last week to let us know?

It seems a lot of projects aren\'t very interested in keeping their users updated much anymore. (atleast of the ones I have looked at) When I started a few years ago projects seemed a lot more grateful, listened and gave updates.

All the computing power that has been donated freely, going unused. I guess I\'m missing the reason behind the apparent lack of urgency to fix whatever is broken.

It\'s not going to \"waste\" if you run multiple projects.

If you\'re not on multiple projects you\'re just a credit-obsessive, fanboy that cares only for points and not the science.

Just my opinion.

I don\'t think that is the problem. Rosetta is not a project where you can earn \'the big bucks\'.

Nope, sure isn\'t.
