Post: Hi, I crunch a WU for almost 29.000 seconds (~8 hours) and only get a measly 69 points for it. What's up with that? |

Current issues with 7+ boinc client

Post: Yes, I was running POEM and WCG GPU projects and Rosetta@home at the same time. Not a single error. Same here on Linux with BOINC 6.12.34. Everything runs fine even with GPU crunching |

Post: Works for me here on Linux, though I still use BOINC 6. Is this problem only related to BOINC 7 + GPU? My specs are: AMD Phenom II x6 1090T @ stock speed nVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 @ stock speed openSUSE 12.1 64-bit |

Discussion of the new credit systen (3)
(Message 74676)

Post: I'm not complaining (too much) about how much credit I get, but what I don't understand is why every (yes, every) task gets awarded lower credit than claimed. Can someone please explain that? I'm also wondering about that. |

Post: Thanks for the projects suggestions. Once you have forgotten what I wrote above, our team specialized and supports biomedical projects only. So choose mathematics (or cryptographic etc.) project as one of the main ones is not an option. Why not add Correlizer and Docking@Home to the list? |

Taking over the BELGIUM team
(Message 69895)
Posted 26 Mar 2011 by microchip
Post: Hi, Not sure if it's the right place to post, but I'd like to take over the BELGIUM team as its current founder is inactive for years. I can't initiate a request as requests have been disabled so I sent a mail a while back asking for this. However, I never got a reply back... So, how should I proceed in this? The function to take over a team has been disabled by Rosetta and when I write a mail to them, no one responds... http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/team_display.php?teamid=60 |
