Same computation errors here. My computer almost freezes because of these WU's. Something serious wrong there.

Thanks for ur reaction Mikey. U described exactly my problem. Temperature is going to 72. But that's normal u say. Ok, I'll keep on crunching then ;)

My CPU gets too hot when running boinc and that scares the shit out of me. Every 5 minutes my cooler goes in overdrive. Is there a way to control this temperature by software ? Or adjust some preferences in Boinc ? I have Intel.

I'm sure it's unrelated seeing as the wingman errored out with a more recent version (plus it's none of my business really) but why are you running Boinc 5.2.13? That can't be good, can it?

2 WU's with same problem. Both frb_ . Should I allow more disk space for those WU's ?

I have a workunit taking already 4 hours now, it is on 95% and it takes 30 seconds to go one step further. Is this normal ?

I have a dual processor and my computer was used to crunch 2 WU's at the same time. After attaching Superlink@technion only 1 WU was running. I've thrown out this project. But the problem stays. Boinc only crunches 1 WU at the same time. What can I do to make Boinc crunch like before ?

Can you describe the client error? Do you have your General Preference set to leave applications in memory while preempted?

Maybe U can do something with this information ?

I always have a client error when I close my computer and start it the next time up. This happens since I've installed Windows Vista.

What can I do ? I am also running WCG and it seems I don't have there this error, so it must be Rosetta related.

My WU is at 1% and wont go any higher. The CPU time is counting, but the percentage is constantly 1% and the time remaining is counting up.

The same for me. Here is the link to my Failed WU

Paused the WU, resumed it. Closed Boinc and restarted Boinc. Nothing worked. It was just totally frozen after 1 minute and a couple of seconds.

Failed WU

I also had a WU, a DOC that after 1 hour of processing didn't pass step 507.
It was a huge result, an energy of -1100. Maybe that's important to know.
So I aborted it

On the official homepage (University of Alberta) I've found an article that says 80% of the rats were cured.

If u know the survival rates of cancer, I think this is already a big step forward. The positive to remember is that the clinical trails can skip processes that are already made in the past and that the drug can be much faster on the market.

Were 100 % of those rats cured ?

I give it a chanche. I also know scientists discover each day new promising target proteins. But why can't cancer be just a mytochondrial disease like they say ?
And Dr Michelakis also gives a reasonable answer why metastasis happens and how DCA can cure it.

Well....the full detailed article is placed in The Cancer Cell magazine but not reachable for me :(
