Unit using 1.5GB of RAM?
(Message 67830)
Posted 26 Sep 2010 by Roland Post: Right now i'm using 1.641 gb for one unit. It is bit of waste of processor power since I have 4 cores but only using 2 since one takes so much memory. not sure if it is the mem_widd_run02_Mevn_a_2kdc_SAVE_ALL_OUT_IGNORE_THE_REST_221578214_0 or T0536........, but i think the first one |

100 Teraflops
(Message 61201)
Posted 15 May 2009 by Roland Post: How is the terraflops counted, is all power of the computers counted, or only half sicne same task needs to go to two different users to see if it is right? In case that is not the case but all power is counted, how is it with super computers, do they have a need to send same task to two differen cores or? What I am asking is is 100 TB equals to 100 TB of a super computer, or 50? |

Will Rosetta ever be completely finished?
(Message 61187)
Posted 14 May 2009 by Roland Post: Will rosetta ever be out of work, because it has tested all the proteins that it can test? And is there an estimation of how long before it will be done if there ever will? |
