You may not be able to change the team name so your points will be lost on the team stat sites who go by the name.

(Message 54649) Posted 25 Jul 2008 by Grizz Post: I think a perfect fix for this problem is to block changing the name of a team after it has been around for 1 month. This will give plenty of time to make sure the name of the team is correct and nobody will want to change the name for any other reason than to hijack the points. Once a name is established on alot of projects the stat sites show team totals and because some projects shut down and you can't access the site, you wouldn't want to change the name of a team because your total team stats would then be split between two names, the ones you changed and the ones you couldn't change.
