3.43 is causing pop-ups
(Message 74324)
Posted 14 Nov 2012 by Aroundomaha Post: Rosetta 3.43 is causing multiple pop-ups on my screen when running. If I close the pop-ups, others appear. The pop-ups do not happen with 3.41. This pop-up phenomenon has just started to occur, and has happened to me on two different desktops (both Windows 7,BOINC 7.0.28 x64). I had to abort the workunits, then the popups stopped. Rick Same thing here. Windows 7 64 bit, client version 3.43. http://aroundomaha.com/rosetta-issue.jpg It wasn't happening last night when I left my computer. |

Results pending and results still uploading
(Message 65389)
Posted 22 Feb 2010 by Aroundomaha Post: I noticed a huge drop off in my average credits over the week-end and now see I have 16,000 pending credits. It appears that everthing sicne around Friday evening has been put into pending. Since 20 February my results that have been uploaded are still pending for credit. That is not a problem as it could take a few daqys. However since last night finished WU's are still uploading. |

Rosetta 2.05 & Windows 7 Issue?
(Message 64997)
Posted 15 Jan 2010 by Aroundomaha Post: I've been happily running Windows 7 and Rosetta for the past couple weeks. In the last couple days I've begun seeing blue screen failures. When I ran the Microsoft dump analysis tool it pointed to Rosetta. Anyone else experience this? I've had to disable BOIC client for the time being. ----------------- MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS (44) A driver has requested that an IRP be completed (IoCompleteRequest()), but the packet has already been completed. This is a tough bug to find because the easiest case, a driver actually attempted to complete its own packet twice, is generally not what happened. Rather, two separate drivers each believe that they own the packet, and each attempts to complete it. The first actually works, and the second fails. Tracking down which drivers in the system actually did this is difficult, generally because the trails of the first driver have been covered by the second. However, the driver stack for the current request can be found by examining the DeviceObject fields in each of the stack locations. Granted credit is 'pending'
(Message 63320)
Posted 13 Sep 2009 by Aroundomaha Post: The Team released some information about the pending Wu's. It doesn't look like things got any better over the week-end. I wonder if this is a larger failure that could take weeks to resolve due to the growing backlog? |

Granted credit is 'pending'
(Message 63263)
Posted 11 Sep 2009 by Aroundomaha Post: In results table in the column 'Granted credit' 'pending' is shown for few last days. Same story for me. I've got probably 14,000 units of work done sitting in pending status. My recent work average is in the weeds as a result. Kind of bummed as tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary of joining. |

All my work is pending
(Message 63262)
Posted 11 Sep 2009 by Aroundomaha Post: I noticed that my total work done credit hasn't been incrementing. When I look at my account there are "pending" credits (over 12,000). Is this something on my end? I'm reaching the one year point and wante to maximize my work done as a personal milestone. Very happy to have accumulated over 2 million units of work done! Never mind. I finally found the other message boards and read that the systems are backed up at the moment. |

No work to do?
(Message 58402)
Posted 3 Jan 2009 by Aroundomaha Post: None of my computers has been able to download any work to do since this afternoon. Is there an issue with the Rosetta side or something else I should look at from my end? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask. I tried looking around a bit but didn't see any notification of issues. |
