I found a new hours section in the cPanel, I'm wondering, does increasing my hours on work increase the size of the download and the RAM taken?

The post on the front page specifies that the default will be 6 hours, but the minimum 3 hours. So I'd like to know where exactly do we set this? I can't find it anywhere on the website. Currently, my times have not changed at all, they are still 2-3 hours.

Rosetta Mini doesn't always respect BOINC's "Snooze" setting on making projects suspend. The weird thing is I had 2 Mini's running and when I hit "Snooze" 1 suspended and 1 continued.

when rosetta crashes, it wants to access the internet to report and get information. be sure to give it full access to the internet.
blocking other tasks, not sure what is causing that.
not receiving any new work, not to worry, boinc is trying to understand how rosetta operates on your machine and sometimes it feels there is already enough work from rosetta and your other projects to keep it busy for awhile. when it feels it needs more work for rosetta it will download it. just be sure to report failures here as they happen.

My compute errors are only with Rosetta. Not with ABC, Einstein or Malariacontrol

I've had this pretty frequently, and I've never let it access the internet because my firewall tells me the hostname of the IP is something like "bogusproxyserver.something". Other times it is something like proxy.opendns.com. Could this be related to OpenDNS? I don't plan on allowing it to communicate like that. Although I do use OpenDNS.

EDIT: If it needs access why doesn't it use BOINC? It will pop up for a new individual firewall rule EVERY time as far as I can see, VERY inappropriate for a network.

I gave up on climate prediction after changing to beta, I didn't like how long it took for 1 result. Rosetta was my first project after beta,

It was with the climateprediction project, had constant error after error until using the beta (6.x) to get protected mode.

Perhaps your problems are from an old beta? I saw 6.2.4 somewhere there.

Hey, out of curiosity, what BOINC client are you using? I had severe problems with failures on another project using the normal client, after installing the beta to take advantage of "protected mode" I've never had a problem since.

I'm just curious if you guys are aware that graphics only semi work on the new boinc v6 beta client with protection enabled. You can see text, just no images.
