1) Message boards : Number crunching : Problems with Rosetta version 5.41 (Message 32261) Posted 8 Dec 2006 by Paulo Rocha Post: I have a series of Macs and the error results have been very high lately, as a mather of fact it is over 95% errors, from a series of machines: single core, dual core, single processor, dual processor, intel, powerpc, all of them with plenty of RAM and Disc space, with graphics (screensaver) on or off, with the latest OS 10.4.8, it doesn't matter, there is definitly something very wrong with the Mac client. From 20 WU we get 1 or 2 that do not turn up an error and those, no matter what are always awarded 20 points in the credits. (Message 31697) Posted 27 Nov 2006 by Paulo Rocha Post: About 7 in 10 results turn out to be compute erros or validations errors, I have all kinds of Macs, PowerPC, Intel, Single, Dual Processors, All of them with the latest OS, for some time I have been gettins an increasing number of erros, sometimes my results would end up mixed with someone else's, Now almost all results are turned down as errors and i can not pinpoint a reason for it because it does not happen on a specific mac, it happens in almost all of them. Mac OS X 10.4.8 - Roseta 5.40 - G4s, G5s, IntelMacs with lots of Ram. For Instance Work Units 48939695 and 42756386 are Validate and Compute errors. Any ideas?
