Run One task instance on all cores
(Message 97260)
Posted 6 Jun 2020 by robl9x0 Post: Is it possible to run a singular task on all of your CPU's cores and threads? I want to try this mostly for fun. Also does anyone know how the Rosetta computation works, I would love to know. |

Neural Network?
(Message 96831)
Posted 28 May 2020 by robl9x0 Post: Could rosetta@home use a neural network to improve it's ability to predict a protein structure and use less CPU time? I think it be cool to implement some AI algorithm to Rosetta, to make it more efficient. I don't know how to do this or if it could work, I was just thinking about it. |

CPU Time For Tasks
(Message 96562)
Posted 16 May 2020 by robl9x0 Post: So I found a setting in Rosetta@home preferences and it's called Target CPU run time, I changed it to one day from three hours; now I'm noticing that tasks take a day to complete which is fine for me, but does that mean Rosetta@home will find the lower energy state for that protein, than if the Target CPU run time was only 3 three hours? So what is better? I don't care about points I'm interested in predicting the lowest energy states. |

Rosetta discontinued?
(Message 91603)
Posted 24 Jan 2020 by robl9x0 Post: No, Rosetta just doesn't have tasks right now for some reason. Expect some tasks in a few days or shorter. |
