Since you run Seti@Home as well, the 2days takes into account that project as well.
Seti has been down for a bit if I remember correctly, So I would have to assume it is playing catch up and getting Seti tasks.

There is a better way to have a cache than the connect every day. That is download the latest version of BOINC, in the Advanced GUI (large, grid style one) you will find Preferences.
When in there fins the connect every and if you are on a regular connection just set it to 0, then the box next to it a 2 days to that
(sorry for lack of precise info and wording, but I'm not at a computer with the new boinc interface on).

I detached from seti this morning, I am tired of them always being down. I will try what you suggested...and thank you

I am having trouble getting new work in... I would like to have 2 days worth and for some reason it looks like when a wu finishes it is not being replaced.

Here is what my preferences say:

Processor usage
Do work while computer is running on batteries?
(matters only for portable computers) no
Do work while computer is in use? yes
Do work only between the hours of (no restriction)
Leave applications in memory while suspended?
(suspended applications will consume swap space if 'yes') no
Switch between applications every
(recommended: 60 minutes) 60 minutes
On multiprocessors, use at most 16 processors
Use at most
Enforced by version 5.6 and greater 100 percent of CPU time
Disk and memory usage
Use at most 100 GB disk space
Leave at least
(Values smaller than 0.001 are ignored) 0.001 GB disk space free
Use at most 50% of total disk space
Write to disk at most every 60 seconds
Use at most 75% of page file (swap space)
Use at most
Enforced by version 5.8 and greater 50% of memory when computer is in use
Use at most
Enforced by version 5.8 and greater 90% of memory when computer is idle
Network usage
Connect to network about every
(determines size of work cache; maximum 10 days) 2 days
Confirm before connecting to Internet?
(matters only if you have a modem, ISDN or VPN connection) no
Disconnect when done?

Skip image file verification?
Check this ONLY if your Internet provider modifies image files (UMTS does this, for example).

[quote]Why is it that my credit granted always is a lot less than claimed?

That statement is incorrect. The question was asked about credits... not about RAC. Your response more applied to RAC which is an average of the credit over time. A new participant basically has a number zeros back from before the joined thrown in to their recent average credit.

I believe ramprat was reviewing their results list and noted that granted. credit is consistently less then claimed credit.

That is correct, in the result section it will read for example 44.96 and granted 40.96 and sometimes in the 30s'
Also I am trying to get the banner with my results, and I am unable to figure out how.

I am a newbie to Rosetta. Does there seem to be a lot of problems w/this project?
