Beyond newbie Q&A
(Message 56504)
Posted 29 Oct 2008 by ![]() Post: I've had a problem... and am not sure what thread to post this in, being a relative newcomer to the Rosetta boards... (moderator: feel free to move this to the proper thread...) I'm running a Mini 1.34 WU (abinitio_nohomfrag_70_A_4icbA_4466_73178_0) and, at 79.207% done, the task hung... on an Opteron dual core, with SETI (production, not Beta, which I also run...) running in the other core. My (windows) task manager reads 50%, with 50% idle, and the mini-Rosetta task is in memory. The Tasks tab reads "Running, High Priority" but no advance was being made... Things I tried are: suspending the boinc client did nothing, but restarting the Boinc Client fixed the problem, why would this happen? |

(Note that it must be R@H 5.93, as this happened on two different OS's and two different builds of BOINC) |

Problems with Rosetta versions 5.72 and 5.73
(Message 44178)
Posted 24 Jul 2007 by ![]() Post: Thanks to everyone for continuing to post and discuss issues with the applications! This version should not be much different from the previous one (5.70). For the aficionados, this is the "rosetta_beta" application getting updated. One thing I've noted that, that is different from both 5.68 and 5.70, is that the RMSD area doesn't scroll; when items are outside the current range |
