Posted 10 Dec 2006 by Fixdmix Post: Greetings. Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it. I just tonight installed for the 1st time both SETI & Rosetta. First on a Powerbook, and all runs fine, with SETI and Rosetta splitting the time, one running at a time. I then installed both on a dual G5. I notice that SETI is running 2 different tasks (one has been preempted). However, Rosetta has one task only which is running concurrently with the one SETI task. I am assuming these tasks are taking one processor each, correct? Why does Rosetta only have one task? Any insight would be appreciated. Very cool, project, glad to be a part of it. MD Las Vegas |
