I am attempting to get boinc / rosetta@home on a gui-less linux box hooked up to my account, but I cannot find my account key anywhere. No, I don't want to install boinc on my desktop just to open a file to find my account key.

Why is it not prominently listed on my account page so I don't have to go on a Google search to find it? Is it possible to get my account key without having to install the client on my desktop?

Yes, you can issue the boinccmd command on the machine you are installing, and specify the --lookup_account
